Panchagarh is a district of Rangpur division and  northern part of Bangladesh.   It was elevated to a district in 1984. It has 5 Upazilas, one municipality, 9 wards.Tetulia is the last Upazila in north. It is 150 feet (46 m) high from the sea level. It has 16 rivers and it is named after these five garhs.
